Kerb Weight: The weight of an empty vehicle with a full tank of fuel, but without any passengers or cargo. This includes all standard equipment and fluids necessary for operation.
GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass): The maximum permissible weight of the vehicle when fully loaded. This includes the kerb weight plus the weight of passengers, cargo, and any additional accessories.
ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass): The total weight of a fully loaded trailer, including the trailer itself and all its contents. This is the maximum permissible weight for the trailer.
Towball Download: The vertical load exerted by the trailer on the towball of the towing vehicle. This weight must be deducted from the vehicle’s payload capacity when calculating the total load.
