DRIVE has announced its much anticipated cars of the year, with the Kia Sportage taking out the top spot for overal DRIVE 2022 Car Of The Year. The Koreans did well with the Kia Cerato winning Best Value Car and the Kia Carnival winning Best People Mover, while Hyundai took out Hot Hatch and <$100k EV with the i30N and Ioniq, respectively.
Meanwhile, Ford cleaned up with 4 category wins. The world’s largest car manufacturer, Toyota, managed only one win. Skoda took out a respectable 2, while Mazda and Isuzu shared a win on their joint venture in the Dual Cab Ute category.
